Get Your Puppy Started on the Right Paw!

Puppy classes are the perfect opportunity to teach your puppy important skills that can help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog! Raise a confident, focused puppy and have fun doing it!

Classes are held an hour a week for 6 weeks at

Puppy Preschool

For puppies 8-20 weeks old. Teach your new puppy important skills and socialize to help them develop into the perfect companion! Including potty training, nip and chew training, and basic manners!

Max learning to focus on his people around other people and dogs

    • 6 Week Class (1 hour a week)

    • Handouts including socialization checklist, potty training information, training guides and more.

    • AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test and Ribbon (must attend all 6 classes to qualify)

Courteous Canines Class

If your dog is older than 5 months OR you have completed Puppy Preschool you can join the Courteous Canines Class!

Mochi learning to come when called outside in a distracting environment.

    • A hungry puppy! (No food at least 3 hours before class)

    • Bring your puppy on a regular leash and harness or flat collar

    • Tasty, small treats your puppy loves!

    • Treat pouch or pocket to hold treats in

    • Vaccine records (unless already emailed)

    All the rest will be provided for you!

  • Each class can have up to 4 puppies. Your spot for the class is for one puppy. Due to limited space, please limit to two (2) people per puppy. Any children participating need to be accompanied by an adult.

  • According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, “Puppies can start puppy socialization classes as early as 7-8 weeks of age. Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class and a first deworming. They should be kept up-to-date on vaccines throughout the class.”

    Being as puppy classes have shown to prevent aggression and anxiety in dogs, the importance of the socialization aspect cannot be overstated. First dose of vaccines are required, and updated vaccines are highly recommended.

  • Please try to choose a class that fits with your schedule. If you or your puppy become ill, please message me before class starts and we can reschedule. There are no make-up reschedules for no-shows. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is an issue.

I am Ashley, your puppy trainer!

I am a certified canine behavior practitioner and dog trainer and founder of Canine Speak Dog Training

My training approach is science-based and compassionate, but practical for your everyday life. Training should be fun for you and your dog and shouldn't feel like a chore. Train 15 minutes a day and watch your dog transform into the courteous canine I know they can be!
